SBS Hospital was founded by Dr. S. Balasubramanyan  an experienced an excellent surgeon who started the first surgery department in the Government hospital during his tenure.

After retiring from the Government service, Dr. Chitra Balasubramanyan joined her husband in his 30 bedded hospital to provide full fledged Obs & Gynec care to the population of Hosur.  She delivers more than 300 deliveries per year.

Dr.B.Bhupesh Karthik, a specialist in Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery heads the  ORTHOPAEDICS department. The hospital offers excellent orthopaedic care.
